This is a simple Python script to convert a patch between headered and headerless.

BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN TO MODIFY ips_hdr.py BEFORE USE.
Failure to do so the first time will simply return an error; further times may cause output to the wrong file.

To use: Simply edit ips_hdr.py in a text editor of your choice, then either drag it onto python.exe (or pythonw.exe) or import it in the Python console (type import ips_hdr).

Notes:
- The only lines you should need to change are the ones with comments (#) on them.
- The standard size of a Super Metroid, and presumably SNES, header is 512 bytes.
- Written in Python 2.5
- Should be compatible with anything that can run Python
- If you're having any problems, go to #jzd on irc.esper.net

Copyright crap:
This utility is copyright 2009 Branden Brown. Super Metroid and SNES are owned by Nintendo.
